Get on board for G66 FestivalTALENTED individuals and groups have been urged to play a part in this year's G66+ Live Community Festival.
Plans are already well underway for the popular annual arts and cultural festival, which will be held in and around Kirkintilloch and Lenzie, in June.
However, organisers are hopeful even more creative and artistic people will come forward and get involved.
G66+ Live committee chairperson Susan Murray said: "It doesn't matter if you are a successful amateur or successful local artist, we would like to hear from you.
"The 'Our Creative Community' exhibition in the East Dunbartonshire Campus of Further and Higher Education will feature arts, crafts, paintings, photography, poems and anything else which showcases local talent.
"We would be delighted if both individuals and groups who would like to contribute got in touch."
The festival organisers are also hoping to hear from anyone who is arranging an event between Sunday, June 14 and Sunday, June 21.
Susan added: "We can promote the event free of charge in the G66+ programme, which will go out to around 22,000 homes across East Dunbartonshire.
"We really want to promote all the good things which are happening in our area."
