Mother's Day 2010 - Pt 4

THE fourth and final instalment of entries for the Herald's Mother's Day competition, 2010.

Primary 5

MY mum is special because she always gets me things I want. She is gorgeous everytime, everyday I love her. She is so polite and kind to me. Sometimes she says I can be a bit of a pest at times but even though she says that I still love her!

Oliver Muirs.

MY mum is special because she cares for me and looks after me. My mum buys me food and washes my clothes. She also helps me when I am stuck with my homework and lets me buy new clothes. She makes me meals that I like. My mum is the best mum in the world. I love her!

Zoe Mair.

MY mum is special because she does my washing for me, she plays with me, she makes dinner for me and she helps with my homework. She is so fun and she makes me great coffee. My mum is cool!

Robbie Soutar.

MY mum is special because when I am stuck on my homework my mum will come and help me get it right. My mum is very kind because when I want a small toy my mum will get it for me. When I am hurt my mum will always be there for me and she always encourages me to do stuff.

Cameron Gordon.

MY mum is special because she takes me to the Showcase, soft play and McDonalds. She said, "Lets go to Spain." I said "Thank you mum I love you." She bought me a new pair of shorts, they are Hawaiian.

JonPaul Kilday.

MY mum is special because she looks after me and she helps me with things and she buys me things. So on mothers day I will give her a reward like breakfast in bed or a box of chocolates or pour her a glass of wine or take her out to dinner. She is wonderful!

Paul Cook.

MY mum is special because she spends lots of money on me and she spoils me. She cooks me dinner and takes me places. When I am not feeling well she takes care of me. She helps me when I am stuck on my homework. She tries to have fun with me when I am bored. I love my mum.

Matthew McKissock.

MY mum is special because she got me a mobile phone for my birthday. She takes me everywhere I want to go, well sometimes. She helps me all the time and she's always there for me. She cooks my dinner every night. I love her.

Siobhan Young.

MY mum is special because she always buys me sweets and nice clothes. She tidy's my room for me and every Sunday we snuggle up on the couch and go to sleep. When I grow up I want to buy my mum a big house because I love my mum and she loves me.

Sam Mcgale.

MY mum is special because she cooks my dinner and helps me with my homework. She also gets me books and toys and games for my DS. She gets my birthday organised and cleans my room. She lets me go outside to play on the trampoline and go to my friend's houses.

Rhys Campbell.

MY mum is special because she helps me with my homework and she cooks dinner and it is delicious! She is going to help me on my space shuttle. When I am angry with a punishment my mum cheers me up and she is nice to me. She is the best mum!

Bethany McManus.

MY mum is special because she buys me nice things and clothes. She also buys me food and she helps me when I am stuck at my homework. She also is very nice to me. I think my mum is very special!

Emily Dunlop.

MY mum is special because she makes me breakfast and takes me to places. She took me to America. She gets me time off school and Riverside. She takes me to school every day. She does everything in the house, dresses me and scares my brother for fun.

Andrew Moodie.

MY mum is the best mum in the world. She makes me laugh when I am sick and comforts me when I am scared. She helps me with my homework and when she's there I feel very happy. I am sure my sister will agree she is the best mum in the whole wide world!

Jade Miller.

MY mum is special because she cares for me when I'm not feeling well. She loves me and gives me big hugs. My mum makes fantastic food. She buys all my clothes and washes my clothes. If I'm stuck with my homework she helps me. You can't get a better mum in the whole wide world.

Heather Cunningham.

MY mum is the best mum because she buys me things like earrings. She takes me out to nice places like the movies. She loves me and gives me big great hugs! She makes me happy when I'm down and she helps me with homework and schoolwork. I love her more than anything!

Nicola Crawford.

MY mum is special because she is beautiful. She does things for me and she helps me with my homework. My mum cooks the dinner. She buys me books and comics so I can read them they are very good. My mum is very special and I felt sorry for her when she hurt her leg. I am lucky to have her as my mum.

Leona Bruce.

MY mum gives me lots of cuddles and helps me when I'm in a muddle. I'm sure my sister would agree she's the best mum in the world. As I've said she is brill and I'm thrilled to have her. She's ever so good at planning things like taking us to Germany. She's the best mum in the world!

MY mum is special because she makes my dinner and helps me with my homework. She takes me out to buy me clothes, she is the best mum in the world. She looks after me. She tells me to do the dishes then she does it. She gives me 2 to go to the shop and takes me to the Fort when I ask her to. My mum bought me a TV before Christmas and a digi box. That's why my mum is special.

MY mum is kind because she makes lovely dinners. My mum is caring and makes me feel better when I am sick. My mum is clever because she helps me with my homework. My mum is hardworking because she works to earn money at night. My mum is special!

Gelo Tano.

MY mum is special because she spoils me. She lets me stay over at my Nan's and she lets me buy everything. She always takes me out and she is always happy to me and my sister. My mum is always fun, she plays my Wii with me and makes dinner for me and my sister and Allan.

Ryan Ormiston.

MY mum is kind and helpful. She is nice and buys me lots of stuff. My mum tidy's my room and makes dinner for my family. She helps old people and tidy's peoples houses and takes care of them. She is wonderful, she is the best mum ever!

Jayla Woodier.

MY mum is special because she gets me clothes. She also gets me toys and takes me out places. She makes my bed. Sometimes she is kind and buys me sweets. She washes my clothes, tidy's up the house and makes me snacks. If I tidy up she gives me pocket money.

Abigail Mayhew.

MY mum is special because she feeds me and looks after me when I'm not well and when I'm hurt. When my bike gets too small for me she will normally get me a new one for my birthday or for Christmas. She also lets me go round for our friend. She also lets me watch TV when she wants to.

Thomas Billcliff.

MY mum is special because she is beautiful and she makes every day of my life special. She makes me smile every minute of my life. When I ask for a sweet she says no but a couple of minutes later she says do you still want that sweet? Then she buys it for me. When I am upset she gives me a big cuddle.

Declan Ainslie.

MY mum is special because she feeds me, she takes care of me, she takes me places and she helps me with my homework, when I'm not feeling well and when I've hurt myself. She spoils me at Christmas and my birthday. I don't know what I would do without her. She is the best in the world, I love her.

MY mum is very special to me because when I have got a sore stomach or not feeling well she's always there for me. I love my mum so much because she always takes me out places. She always buys me nice things and she's always nice to me and everybody else in the household. Love you.

Rhiana Wilson.

LOVE hearts are red, violets are blue and I love you. My birthday present was lovely and fun, I'm making a bracelet that's almost done! My mum is very special. I love my mum because she's always there for me, helps me when I need help, loves me when I need love.

Angelica Marcelo.

MY mum always looks after me since I was a baby. She keeps me safe and if I fall she helps by putting plasters on. She helps me with school, like performance dance. She feeds me, loves me, cheers me up. She takes me to school even though she is very tired. I hope she wins because she deserves it!

Lana Docherty.

MY mum is a fantastic mum because she cooks dinner for me and when I am not feeling well she helps me get better by buying me medicine. When my room is a mess she helps me clean it and she buys me toys and games and food. And she takes me on holiday and buys me clothes and shoes.

Sean McAleer.

MY mother helps me when I am sick and tries to get me better. Once when I was four I fell and split my head open and she ran in as fast as she could and when she got me she picked me up and got me a paper towel and put it on my head and made me better.

Ryan McLellan.

MY mum is great! She helps along the way, sometimes she gets mad but we always work it out. She helps and shares. When I'm sick she cares for me and all the time I am feeling down she helps me turn my frown upside down. She makes my dinner and helps with my homework, my mum is so special.

Payton McLellan.

MY mum is so special because when you fall your mum will help you. Mothers are always calm and never get angry. My mum gives me a hug if I am sick or sad. I always appreciate my mum. My mum is such a nice person. She always cleans up and makes dinner and breakfast. She buys me nice things.

Joseph Loughran.

I LOVE my mum, she is special to me. I love my mum, I keep her all to me. No one touches my mum or they will deal with me. My mummy loves me so much. She gave me some money during the credit crunch.

Gemma Doyle.

MY mum is really special to me and gets me stuff and does my room for me and she is more special than chocolate. She does things for me and she lets me go places and lets me stay with my friends and I love her to bits and she will take me into town.

Brooke Nicol.

MY mum is special because she buys me football boots when I don't need them. My mum takes me out for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We usually go to a place called Loch 27. If we're not out we usually watch DVDs or go to bowling or swimming. If we're not doing any of those things we'll just cuddle.

Jamie Morrison.

MY mum is so helpful. She takes me everywhere. She takes me to football and to school. She buys me things that are nice and I am very thankful for those things. When I am very sick she will always help me without a doubt. She makes me my dinner and my breakfast too! My mum is great!

Dominic Scally.

MY mum takes care of me and gets me everything I want. My mum loves me, she is so sweet, I think she is the nicest person in the universe. She takes me everywhere, to restaurants and for my holidays she gave me 300. She gives me care, love and protection. She makes sure I get everything I want.

TO my dear mother, you are always there for me, when I fall you're there when I turn around. Mum you're the best so I always want to know, how did you do it? Bring me up and with three other children plus my niece? I want you to know you're the best. Love you, have a good mother's day.

Sophie Wilson.

MY mum is special to me because she does my room up for me and tidy's up my bedroom. My mum is also special for me because she makes my bed for me. My mum does everything for me and my mum puts my clothes away for me and she gets my dinner for me and she gets my clothes.

Natasha Gourlay.

MY mummy bought me a Lion Bar, I dropped it on the floor. She said, "Okay I will just go and get some more." She is nice to my friends and cooks things they like. That's my mum alright!

Eileen Gordon.

MY mum is so kind and loving. She is not perfect but she is brilliant. I love her the ways she is. She is always there for me, she always helps me when I am sick. I love my mum, she always buys me stuff and she takes me loads of places. She makes me happy.

Kieran Connell.

YOUR mum is so special because she helps you when you fall. She helps you and she cleans your knee. When you are unwell your mum gives you blankets and keeps you warm. If you spill something on your shirt your mum puts it in the washing and cleans it. If you are hungry your mum will make a dinner.

MY mum is very special to me because she always looks after me when I am not feeling well. She gives me some medicine and buys me stuff. My mum told me to keep my bedroom neat and if I do she gives me a treat. My mum is always caring for people that are in poor countries. Love you.

MY mum is special to me because when I fall and hurt my knee she picks me up and gives me a cuddle. My mum loves me and my little sister the same.

Robyn Deans.

MY mother is so good to me. I love her too. She always sticks up for me and I do it for her. My mum is so sweet she's sweeter than sweet, better than chocolate and better than everyone.

Kyle McNeill.

MY mum is a kind and caring mum. She has a gorgeous smile which lights up the room. I love her so much, she is absolutely amazing, she loves me with all her heart and I love her with all my heart too. Thank you mum for everything you've done for me. I really appreciate it, I would like to repay you in some way, but I know I repay you by loving you so much.

Chloe McCutcheon.

HAZEL coloured hair, sapphire blue eyes, lovely multi-coloured dresses and skirts, super white teeth and red as rose lips. She has a cute button nose and a little innocent face. Honestly I have to say I will never stop loving you. Thank you so much for setting me on the right track and for setting my life straight.

Billy Jay.

MY mum is loving and beautiful. My mum does almost everything for me! She does my bed, my clothes, my breakfast, my dinner plus my sisters. She takes me almost everywhere, my mum is just the best. I would be nothing without my mum. A big thank you for everything.

Ross Caddens.

I LOVE my mum to bits, I do love the things she does for me, she makes me my dinner and plays with me all the time. We go out to get shopping it is so fun. Mum makes me my dinner and my warm bed and she gets me what I want. That is why I love my mum so much.

SPARKLING eyes dazzling in the sunlight, beautiful long, curly hair and white teeth that light up a room when she smiles. During my life I have never stopped loving her. I couldn't ask for a better mum than her. I would love to say a humungous thank you and I want to tell her that I am extremely sorry if I have been cheeky. I wish her a happy mothers day and I love her so much.

I LOVE my mum so much because she lets me get most of the things I want. Mum you do a lot of stuff for me, you clean my room, you clean my clothes, mum you clean everything for me. MY fabulous mum constantly goes out her way to make me happy. I always try to respect my astonishing mum, I probably love her more than Romeo loves Juliet. I'd never hurt my great mum or let any harm come to her, to me she's even more important than having lots of useless money because money can't buy happiness. I want to say thank you for all the wonderful things you've done for me. I'm very grateful to my mum.

I LOVE my mum because she helps me when I'm stuck or when I fall down and she makes me laugh, buys me stuff, takes me out and cares for me. I will help her when she needs it, take the dog out, feed the animals and stop refusing to take the bins out! Another thing, thank you for taking care of me and getting me stuff.
