5. People Make Glasgow
The large pink landmark towers over the city’s George Square and is the largest city centre civic message across the UK.
6. Beresford
The building is one of the most iconic in the city and was opened in 1938 to provide accomadation for those attending the Empire Exhibition. The silver letters above the entrance have become notable.
7. The Barras
Many a Glaswegian and visitor have passed under the famous ‘The Barras’ archway on a Saturday or Sunday morning. The iconic sign was given a facelift a few years ago when it was strengthened and secured.

One of Scotland’s distinctive independent venues, the signage on the building has become one of the newest recognisable traits of Glasgow.
