A charity has organised a whole series of fun free workshops to ensure children don’t get bored over the summer holidays.

ENABLE Scotland, supported by East Dunbartonshire Council, are laying on the varied activities in the coming weeks.

Next week there’s daily animation workshops from 10am-2.30pm at William Patrick Library from Tuesday, July 16, until Friday, July 19.

For more active youngsters there’s the chance to try out wheelchair basketball on Tuesday and wheelchair rugby on Wednesday - both from 10am-2.30pm at Kirkintilloch High School.

Subsequent weeks will see a Rock School set up at Melrose Music Academy, in Stepps, and hiphop cheerleading at Kirkintilloch High.

There’s also the chance to get involved in a production at the Fort Theatre, in Bishopbriggs.
