Invite to get crafty this weekend in Bishopbriggs

THERE will be fun for all the family this weekend when the doors open on the Creative Care craft fair.

The event takes place at Brackenbrae House, Bishopbriggs, from 10am-4pm on Saturday (May 12).

A display of 3D decoupage pictures and cards, craft workshops and demonstrations, a children’s craft corner, a book sale, a craft shop, tea, coffee and home-baking are just some of the attractions on offer.

Entry is £3.50 for adults and £1 for children and includes tea, coffee and home-baking.

All funds raised from the event will go towards the Brackenbrae House Improvement Fund.

Meanwhile, crowds will be flocking to Crofthead Showfield in Bishopbriggs next week for the annual Kirkintilloch and District Agricultural Show.

The popular event takes place on Saturday, May 19 and will fearture a host of great attractions.
