SCHOOL’S out for the summer . . . and there is plenty to do in Kirkintilloch, Bishopbriggs, Lennoxtown and beyond.

The newly-formed East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust has unveiled its first-ever summer holiday activities programme.

There are more than 300 fun things to choose from – including sports, outdoor pursuits, and arts and crafts.

Councillor Amanda Stewart, chairperson of East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust, said: “This year’s summer programme offers a wide range of activities. I am sure there is something for everyone in all of our leisure centres, libraries and museums.”

She added: “Just call any of our centres for more information or to book the activity you would like to take part in.”
