A FRESH-FACED youngster has launched his modelling career at the age of just NINE.

Craig Finnigan, from Torrance, was recently named runner-up in the ‘Scotland’s Cutest Kid’ competition run by model agency Modelscotland.

The Torrance Primary School pupil, who celebrated his 10th birthday shortly after the contest, received a trophy and a one year modelling contract after strutting his stuff at the finals, held in Glasgow’s glitzy Abode Hotel.

Proud mum Elaine Differ said: “It was his godmother Michelle Baxter’s idea to enter him. She saw it on Facebook and thought it would be perfect for him.”

After being selected out of hundreds of entries Craig was invited for a screen test and then took to the stage at the awards.

Elaine said: “He was an absolute natural - I don’t know where he gets it from!”
