Dykers return to Kilsyth

It’s welcome back to the West of Scotland Dry Stone Dykers as they make their final preparations for the erection of a new access bridge over the ditch on the approach to the ninth green at Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club.

The project will be similar to the eye catching bridge which they erected at the 18th last year.

During the construction of the new bridge, a temporary green will be in place until the conclusion of the work. Weather permitting the foundations will start no Saturday, March 1.

A repeat of last year’s run is on the cards and a thrilling finish is in store for the final top two places as it’s almost impossible to predict the final outcome. However, after the weekend’s play two League Leaders cemented their positions with excellent rounds. First up was Paul Tyrrell in League Two with an excellent 40 points, and George Boyd, leader in League Four scoring 38. John McCann continued his late run of form and his score of 39 keeps him in the picture in League Four for the final outcome on Saturday, March 1-Sunday, March 2.
