Long-service awards for Gartcosh bowlers

TWO long-standing members of Gartcosh Bowling Club have been rewarded for their dedication to the club.
William Bradley and George Quate were presented with engraved silver trophies by club president Peter Wood during a special ceremony.

George has clocked up almost a quarter of a century of bowling at the club and William has been a member at Gartcosh for 44 years.

Strathkelvin councillors Frances McGlinchey and Joe Shaw were invited to the presentation to congratulate the members.

President Peter Wood said "They have given great service and dedication over the years and they have to be commended for their commitment to the club."
