THREE criminals forced their way into a man’s home and threatened him during a robbery.
The men burst into the 52-year-old’s home in Peathill Avenue, Chryston, wearing balaclavas and face masks last week.
They stole a small amount of money before running off.
The man was unhurt, but has been left badly traumatised by the robbery, which happened at 9.10pm last Thursday, March 10.
Police are now appealing for information to help them catch the three men responsible.
The first is described as white, around 6ft 1ins and with broad shoulders.
The other two men are said to be of slim build and around 5ft 3ins-5ft 4ins in height. They were all wearing dark clothing.
Detective Inspector John Jack of Cumbernauld CID said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who was in the Peathill Avenue area of Chryston on Thursday night and who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously.
“I would also like to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything out of the ordinary in that area around the time of the robbery.
