A swimming ace has scooped another gold medal at the Special Olympics - her third time at the event.
Nicola Keppie scooped gold in the 25m butterfly during the competition in Bath. The 28-year-old also got personal best times for her 50m backstroke and 50m freestyle.
Nicola, from Kirkintilloch, has been swimming since she was seven-years-old and became a member of Temple Swimming Club.
Nicola’s family were there to cheer her on at the event and her mum was delighted to be asked to present her with the gold medal.
Nicola said: “I was shocked when I won. Another gold is fantastic.
“I couldn’t believe it when my mum came up to give me the medal.
“We’re going to have a party to celebrate.”
Nicola was part of the Scotland West squad which brought home a haul of medals.
