A family is offering a reward for the safe return of a treasured pet who went missing in Bishopbriggs.

Logan – a German Spitz – was last seen in the Huntershill area on Friday, October 11.

The four-year-old dog was staying in the area and disappeared from the garden around midnight.

His owner Danielle Markey has been left “devastated” by the loss and is offering a reward for his safe return.

There have been a couple of sightings of Logan around Strathkelvin Retail Park where Danielle works at Pets at Home.

Danielle’s mum Frances said: “There was a possible sighting in Cadder Way by someone who said it definitely looked like Logan. We went round all that area and have put up posters and banners, and spoken to people.

“There was another sighting on Saturday at the retail park of a dog who was distressed being put into a car.

“Danielle works at Pets at Home and we wonder if that’s why Logan is going there.

“We really want to find him and hope people can help. We are offering a reward.”

Logan is around 17 inches in height, wearing a green collar. He has a cream, bushy and curly tail. He is described as “very fluffy and friendly”.

Anyone with information on Logan’s whereabouts can contact Frances on 075251 68954.
