A WOMAN who found a bracelet on a bus floor is appealing for its owner to come forward.
Sandra McClumpha (66) found the bracelet on a bus from Kirkintilloch to Bishopbriggs earlier this month.
Mrs McClumpha noticed it lying on the floor after a bottle, which was rolling around the bus floor, hit her foot. She has now handed it into Kirkintilloch Police Office.
Mrs McClumpha said: “It’s a lovely wee bracelet. It caught my eye, it was lying coiled up on the floor as if it had just fallen in a wee pile.
“I lost a locket my late husband James had given me and it was horrible not getting it back so I would like to get this back to its rightful owner.
“I don’t know how long it had been lying there, but it’s a good bracelet.”
The bracelet was found on the bus between 3pm and 3.30pm on Thursday, June 30.
To claim it visit Kirkintilloch Police Office and provide details.
