A man has been arrested after police were called out to Bishopbriggs Leisuredrome on Friday afternoon.

Officers received an anonymous call from a member of the public around 1.40pm on October 7.

A 40-year-old man appeared in court this week, charged with allegedly being in possession of a knife and a BD ‘potato gun’ in the grounds of the sports centre.

Police said he was remanded in custody and is due to reappear at a later date.

There is no report of any injuries.
