Beware of bike peddlers after high-value theft in Bishopbriggs

THIEVES have stolen two bikes worth around £1,200 in a raid on a garden shed.

The mountain bikes were nicked from a property in Coltpark Avenue, Bishopbriggs, overnight between Sunday, July 1, and Monday, July 2.

Both bikes were red. One was made by ‘Kona’ and the other by ‘Isla’.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call police on 0141 532 4400.
