Newspaper readers across the world have been learning all about the successful work at Bishopbriggs Academy after the school was featured in the International Herald Tribune.

The article by Dan Guttenplan, who recently visited the school, discusses education in Scotland and England and the development of Curriculum for Excellence north of the border.

The International Herald Tribune is an addition of the New York Times and sold in 120 countries.

Bishopbriggs Academy received a glowing report from education inspectors earlier this year.

Head teacher Gordon Moulsdale said: “To be featured in the article was hugely exciting for us and a fantastic achievement for the school. It’s a great tribute to the work of all the staff.”
