STAFF at Domino’s Pizza in Bishopbriggs enjoyed a very special topping recently – when they summitted the UK’s highest peak for charity.
A team of workers from the branch in Kirkintilloch Road scaled Ben Nevis and raised £3,500 for charities, including Marie Curie Cancer Care, Yorkhill’s Children’s Hospital and Bwindi Community Hospital.
Megan Jones, manager of Domino’s Bishopbriggs, said: “The charity climb was a fantastic way to raise money and it helped boost morale among the team.
“The staff were excited to get stuck in and take on the challenge. The majority of the team had never climbed Ben Nevis before and had been preparing – both physically and mentally – for the climb.
“We are very thankful for all the generous sponsorship support.”
