A student is celebrating a triple-triumph - after landing a first class honours degree, a prestigious award AND a top job.

Graham MacKay (29), from Bishopbriggs, is one of four top financial services students from universities in Glasgow to be recognised by Glasgow’s International Financial Services District (IFSD) for achieving top marks in their final exams.

It followed Graham achieving a first class honours in Finance, Investment and Risk from Glasgow Caledonian University.

The top marks helped him secure a position with Morgan Stanley, one of Glasgow’s leading employers in the financial services sector.

At a recent awards ceremony, the model student was presented with a certificate and a cheque for £500 to recognise his achievement in becoming an IFSD Student of the Year 2013.
