British Transport Police are keen to trace two men seen leaving Glasgow’s Central Station following the theft of £7,000 worth of camera equipment from a family on a London bound Virgin train.
The force has released CCTV images of the men they wish to trace in connection with their investigation into the theft which happened on August 26 at around 5.45pm.
Officers believe the men shown in the images may be able to assist them with their enquiries and have appealled to any members of the public who recognise them to contact British Transport Police.
Investigating officer Detective Constable John McPhilemy said: “We would like to speak to the men in these images as we believe they have information which could help our investigation. We believe this family were deliberately targeted in what was a very calculated theft and so we are keen to catch those responsible.”
