POLICE are hoping Herald readers can help identify men suspected of carrying out a series of crimes at various DIY superstores last year.

Strathclyde Police have released CCTV pictures of the suspects and have asked anybody who recognises them to get in touch.

A spokesperson said: “Detectives would like to trace these men in connection with their enquiries into incidents which occurred at various B&Q stores between July 27 and 31 in 2012, located at Parkhead Forge, Darnley, Cumbernauld, East Kilbride, Paisley, Bishopbriggs, Coatbridge, Darnley, Livingston, Motherwell, Cumbernauld, Hermiston Gait, Kilmarnock, and Ayr.

“Detectives at London Road Police Office, Glasgow, are keen to speak to anyone who recognises the men.”

Anyone with information can contact London Road CID on 0141 532 4636 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
