Police are asking for help from the public to trace a teenage girl who has been missing her home in Bishopbriggs since Friday.

Monique Marshall (17), was last seen around midday on Friday, July 29 in Glasgow City Centre.

Officers said that over the past few days she has been speaking to friends but there has been no contact from her since last night, Monday 1 August 2016 and concern for her is growing.

She is described as around 5ft 6inches tall, with a slim build, dark brown hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, she was wearing a black Adidas top, grey jeans, white trainers and carrying a cream coloured handbag.

Police added that Monique has family and friends in the Dundee area and it’s possible she may have travelled there.

They are appealing for anyone who may have seen Monique or who has any information as to her whereabouts to contact them at Kirkintilloch Police Office on 101.
