Police are appealing for help in tracing a man who vanished from his home in North Glasgow four days ago.

Darius Tohidy (41) from Scaraway Drive near Bishopbriggs was last seen around 2.50pm on Thursday.

Officers are extremely concerned for his welfare as he has mental health issues and is without his prescribed medication.

Darius is Iranian and is described as 5ft 8ins in height and of slim build with chin-length dark-coloured hair and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a beige jacket, burgundy shirt, beige trousers and Crocs-type sandals.

Extensive searches are ongoing to trace Darius.

Inspector Cath McNally from Baird Street Police Office is urging anyone who has seen Darius, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact Police Scotland on 101.
