RESIDENTS will have more time to have their say on proposals to relocate Lenzie Post Office after the consultation period was extended.

The Post Office Ltd is proposing to relocate the branch to Scotmid’s Morning, Noon and Night’s store in Gallowhill Road by July.

The six week consultation was due to end on May 17, but this has been extended until June 11.

The Post Office said that, “as part of the feedback that we received, some issues were highlighted in terms

of the technical and supporting data that formed part of the information that we provided.

“Customers that have already input to the consultation will not have to re-submit that information as all

comments received so far, along with any new information submitted, will be considered equally at the end

of the consultation period.”

Submissions can be sent by Freepost to YOUR COMMENTS, Post Office Ltd; by email to comments@postoffice.co.uk or using an online form at www.postofficeviews.co.uk
