A YOUNG dancer is hoping to be crowned the ‘Face of Europe’ when she heads to Paris later this year.

Freya Taylor has been selected to compete as the Face of Glasgow 2013.

The 21-year-old dance graduate will now go on to battle it out in the Face of Scotland and hopefully make it to the Face of Europe competition.

The beauty pageant takes place in Disneyland Paris in November and the winner lands a modelling contract.

Freya, from Torrance, is looking for sponsors to make it to the event and is keen to do promotional work and events.

She said: “I hope to start a programme in primary and secondary schools at first to get kids a bit more active.

“Competitions like this open doors to a lot of girls throughout the arts industry.

“It’s a good way of representing Glasgow and Scotland.”

Anyone interested in sponsoring Freya in the Face of Europe competition can email her at freyajanetaylor@gmail.com
