East Renfrewshire households urged lock doors to discourage sneak-in thieves
Police in East Renfrewshire are raising awareness of a number of attempted thefts from homes in the area – and are urging the public to remember to keep their doors locked.
Officers have received a number of reports of attempted sneak-in thefts in the Glasgow area and are urging householders to keep their properties secure.
A spokesman said: “It is good practice to lock your front door when you get home.
“Please be aware of your surroundings and use this easy security measure to protect your home.”
