Vulnerable woman robbed of ‘sizeable’ sum in Motherwell after handbag snatch from car
The shocking incident took place at 2.50pm on Monday, December 14 at Motherwell’s Gavin Street.
Police have confirmed that although some of the victim’s property was found nearby, it, a “sizeable” amount of cash remains unaccounted for.

Hide AdThe thief is described as white, around six foot one in height and of medium build - and was wearing a grey hoodie and grey jogging bottoms.
Sergeant Liam Bryson from Motherwell Police Station said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed this incident or noted anything suspicious.
“ We are also asking those who have CCTV or dash cams to check their footage from the time in case something was picked up.
“This a serious crime with a vulnerable victim.
“Any information could be invaluable.
