PUPILS across East Dunbartonshire, North Lanarkshire and North Glasgow will be among 16,000 young people in Scotland who will receive exam results on Thursday (August 4).
For those who don’t get the results they had been hoping for, help is at hand in the form of a free call to the Skills Development Scotland Exam Results Helpline on 0808 100 8000. The helpline will open at 8am on August 4, to offer advice and support.
Guidance staff at Kirkintilloch High School will be on hand to talk to pupils about their results. The staff will be available at the school between 10am and 12 noon on Thursday (Aug 4), Friday (Aug 5) and Monday (Aug 8).
Jacqui MacDonald, education officer at East Dunbartonshire Council, said: “Help is also available to young people from staff in our schools, who offer support and advice about making the right decision about what to do next and to consider all the options available to them.”
