Designer clobber stolen by robber ... who targeted clothes line

POLICE are hoping to get shirty – and catch the thief who swiped clothes from a garden while they were being dried in the sun.

The items were hanging on a clothes line in a property in Balmuildy Road, Bishopbriggs, when they were taken between 6pm and 9pm on Sunday, March 25.

The garments included an Armani top and Armani jeans, valued at around £300, as well as a selection of towels and bedding.

In a separate incident, a set of golf clubs valued at £1,000 was taken from a garage in Careston Place, Bishopbriggs, between Sunday, March 18, and Saturday, March 24.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
