A LADBROKES branch in North Glasgow was targeted by armed raiders on Saturday afternoon.

Strathclyde Police is appealing for witnesses after the robbery at Ladbrokes in Kilfinan Street, Possilpark, at around 3.40pm.

Two men entered the bookmakers and threatened staff members, demanding cash.

It is believed that one of them was in possession of a firearm.

The men then left the shop on foot in an unknown direction having stolen a three-figure sum.

They are described as being of average height and build, each wearing a grey hooded top. One of the men wore dark jeans and the other wore dark trousers.

Detective Constable Liz Cameron said: “Early enquiries have revealed there may have been a third man involved who stood outside at the doorway.

“He is described as being tall, around 6ft in height and of very slim build.”
