NEVER mind the ‘Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’, Rosie Gillies is determined to become the ‘Girl with the Rabbit Tattoo’.

Rosie is going under the needle to show her love of bunnies and to support the Fairly Beloved Rabbit Care (FBRC) charity.

And she’s persuaded partner Simon McIlvenna to join her after the pair adopted a rabbit from the local organisation.

The couple, who live in Milton of Campsie, already had one rabbit, Honey, and needed a friend as bunnies can get depressed without companionship.

FBRC helped them find the perfect addition to their family. Cooper the rabbit is now settling in well to his new home.

Rosie (22) said: “The bunnies are now best friends. They live indoors in a large cage and have supervised time running round the house.”

Rosie wanted to give something back to the charity as a thank-you and plumped for a rabbit tattoo.

She explained: “I came up with the idea to take out a ‘Justgiving’ page and get people to sponsor us getting tattooed for the charity. They do such good work.”

You can support the cause by visiting www.justgiving.com/Rosie-Gillies or texting RSTR90 £donation amount to 70070.
