Fun surprise for 84 bus passengers

Bus passengers recognised a new set of announcements recently when celebrities got onboard for Guide Dogs Week.

Passengers travelling on the SPT service 84, which goes between Kirkintilloch and Twechar, between October 4-12, were treated to hilarious remarks from comedy genius Gregor Fisher in character as Rab C.Nesbitt, written by Ian Pattison.

Both Gregor and Ian were supporting the charity Guide Dogs in Glasgow, which is on a mission to change bus transport and enable people who are blind and partially sighted to travel with confidence.

SPT chiefs say they are committed to the best journey experience to passengers and have a number of buses fitted with AV technology.
