ANXIOUS residents only have days left to object to plans that could see greenbelt land in East Dunbartonshire swallowed up by house builders.

Eight sites, which were declared ‘no-build zones’ in East Dunbartonshire Council’s Local Plan Two, are the subject of an appeal by developers to the Scottish Government reporter - who will make a final decision later this year.

A spokesperson for Campsie Community Council added: “Time is marching on and, while we have had a very good response, we would stress to people how important it is to have their say and help save our greenbelt.”

You can send responses to the consultation, by 5pm on Monday, March 14, by e-mail to development.plan@eastdunbarton.gov.uk or in writing to: The Planning Manager, East Dunbartonshire Council, William Patrick Library, Kirkintilloch, G66 1AD.
