Have your say on the future of Rouken Glen

An online survey has been launched - and Rouken Glen users will also be asked to take part in face-to-face interviews in the park itself.
Councillor Vincent Waters, ERC’s environment convener, explained: “This is your chance to have your say on what you love about Rouken Glen and what you would like to see us provide in the park.

Hide Ad“Please give us your views either by going online, or by taking the time to speak to our researchers if you meet them in the park.”
He continued: “Rouken Glen is our jewel in the crown and one of the best parks in Scotland. We are investing and working hard to keep it thay way and to make sure everyone, from residents to the many visitors we welcome every week, thoroughly enjoys this brilliant green space that we have.”
The park has received a significant cash boost of late, from a Heritage Lottery grant of £2 million and a council investment of a further £1m.
Improvements have included the restoration of the pavilion into a visitor and heritage cetnre, and a new state-of-the-art children’s playground.
