ENTRIES have poured in from around the district for the Kirkintilloch, Bishopbriggs and Springburn Herald’s 2013 garden competition.

The competition is now closed and judges have the diffiuclt task of making their way round the gardens to choose our winners.

They will certainly have a tough job on their hands judging from the pictures taken by the Herald photographer.

Entries have come in from Kirkintilloch, Lenzie, Bishopbriggs and Lennoxtown

As in previous years, we’ve teamed up with the experts at Caulders Garden Centre – in Kirkintilloch – and Kirkintilloch Horticultural Society.

There’s a host of great prizes up for grabs, with the winner scooping a £50 voucher to spend at Caulders.

The second place prize is a £30 voucher for Caulders and third prize is a £20 voucher.

Winners will be chosen soon and will receive their prizes at the Kirkintilloch Horticultural Society’s annual show on Saturday, September 7.
