High note for Campsie Accordian and Fiddle Club

Campsie Accordion and Fiddle Club had a massive turnout for their December club with over 130 in the audience. There were 18 players, two fiddle players, one mouth organ player, six piano players and two drummers. The guest artiste was Tom Alexander who gave two excellent sessions of varied music with the audience cheering for more at the end of the night.

The Christmas ceilidh in the Memorial Hall was on December, 6 with dance music provided by Simon Howie’s Scottish Dance Band and we also had an Irish dancing display from the Stewart School of Irish Dancing, another great night!

The next club night in the Glazert Country House Hotel, Lennoxtown is on Tuesday, January 6 at 7.30pm when the guest artiste is The Richard Smith Trio.

There is also another ceilidh on January, 31, the Haggis & Neeps ceilidh with dance music provided by Charlie Kirkpatrick and his band, Charlie will also be addressing the haggis.
