Hunt for ‘nutter’ who headbutted his way through plate-glass shop window

A THUG who head-butted and kicked a shop window until it smashed is being sought by police.

The attack, on the Memory Lane florist premises in Queen’s Building, Lenzie, took place on Saturday morning at around 4am.

Police enquiries are ongoing.

Meanwhile, a selfish dog owner has been charged by police after allegedly failing to clear up after his pet.

Police swooped on the 51-year-old man at around 11.30am on Sunday, December 9, in Angus Avenue, Bishopbriggs.

In other police news, cash was stolen during a house break-in. The property in Armour Court, Kirkintilloch, was targeted overnight on Wednesday, December 5.
