Hunt for vandal who attacked pensioner’s car

POLICE are hunting a teenager who vandalised a pensioner’s car.

The boy, described as being Asian, aged between 12-16, was found by a neighbour in the elderly resident’s garage in Kirriemuir Road, Bishopbriggs, between 8.30-9.30am on Tuesday, April 3.

Before making his escape he had let down two car tyres, scratched the bonnet of the vehicle and stole a pair of sunglasses.

Meanwhile, two 14-year-old boys have been charged with drinking in public.

They were allegedly caught with alcohol in Millersneuk Drive, Lenzie, at around 7pm on Thursday, April 5. You can call the police on 532 4400.
