Lennoxtown Library which was closed for three weeks for alterations to be carried out is due to reopen on Monday (August 12).
The building was shut for work to accommodate the local housing office.
The services previously offered by the housing office in Main Street will be delivered from the library.
The move is part of a wider project to build a £5.29million Community Hub in the heart of the village offering local people one-stop access to a range of council services.
The facility will include the local library, cafe, community spaces, offices, NHS facilities and a commercial unit.
A planning application was recently submitted for the development. The next phase of community engagement sessions will be carried out this month and September.
