Appeal after criminals hit cars in Kirkintilloch and Bishopbriggs

POLICE are looking for witnesses after two cars were vandalised in separate incidents.

The Vauxhall Corsa, parked in Green Avenue, Kirkintilloch, had its tyres slashed between May 6-10.

In another incident, a man described as being around 5ft10in tall and wearing a green hooded top was disturbed while throwing paint over a Toyota car in Freeland Place, Kirkintilloch, at around 4.15pm on Saturday, May 12.

Anyone with information can call police on 0141 532 4400.

Meanwhile, a car was stolen from a residential street on Saturday evening (May 12).

The burgundy Vauxhall Corsa was taken from Carisbrooke Crescent, in Bishopbriggs, between 8-9pm.
