Arrest after woman’s body found in North Glasgow

POLICE have arrested a 32-year-old man following the death of a woman in Barmulloch.

The body of Catrina Rae (32) was found in a house in Leadburn Road, Barmulloch, at around 9.50pm on Friday night (July 6).

Strathclyde Police said a 32-year-old man had been arrested and was in custody in connection with the death.

The man was expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, July 9, as the Herald went to press.

A full report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
