Beware of £900 bike pedaller

A THIEF stole a specialist bicycle worth over £900 from an unlocked garden shed.

The silver and black cross trail mountain bike was taken from a shed in Glendale Drive, Bishopbriggs, between Friday, February 3, and Sunday, February 5.

Police are hoping to her from witnesses or anybody who may have been offered the distinctive bike to buy.

Meanwhile, police are hunting for a vandal who comprehensively trashed a car.

The black Vauxhall Corsa was parked in Auchinairn Road, Bishopbriggs, when it had all its windows smashed, its windscreen wipers and bumper torn off, and its bodywork dented.

The attack happened between 2am and 6am on Sunday, February 5.

A suspect is described as between 15-16-years-old with a blue tracksuit.
