Booze and drugs charges in Kirkintilloch

POLICE have charged a teenager with buying alcohol for under-age youths.

The 19-year-old man was allegedly caught by police in Whitefield Avenue, Kirkintilloch, at around 7pm on Friday, January 27.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident on the same day, a 51-year-old man was charged with alleged possession of cannabis at around 11.10pm in Newdyke Road, Kirkintilloch.
