It was a real family fun day for all at the Glenbrae Vet Clinic dog show at Mugdock Country Park earlier last month.

Crowds flocked to the park with their four legged friends, and despite the odd shower everyone had a great time.

The highlight for many was the display by Kirkintilloch Dog Training Group, which came along and did a fantastic display.

Pet owners were then allowed to try out the course and see how agile their pets were.

Angela Mcnellan, head veterinary nurse at the Bearsden clinic, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who came along and made it such a success. We have held the dog show for a number of years now and it is has always been a well attended event.”

A total of £300 was raised for charity, which was split betweeen the Canine Partners, SSPCA and Greyhound Awareness League, who were all there on the day.

There was also face painting and a bouncy slide for children.

Next month the Glenbrae Vet Clinic will be holding a smaller charity dog show at Faifley Fun Day.

For more information, please contact the clinic on 942 7070.
