SPRINGFIELD Cambridge Festival Chorus will be lighting up Christmas again this year – and tickets are now on sale.

Since 2002 the 150-strong chorus, with a 40-piece orchestra, outstanding soloists and musical director Alan A. Craig, have heralded the festive season for thousands of listeners.

The 10th anniversary concert – on December 20 – promises their usual blend of contemporary and traditional Christmas music in powerful and stylish arrangements. Proceeds will be added to the £130,000 total raised by previous concerts for CHAS.

Tickets (priced £14, £12, £10) are available from Bishopbriggs Box Office – 07811 344307 – at Cadder South Hall (open Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am-noon) or Glasgow Royal Concert Hall – phone 0141 353 8000.
