Chryston conman attempts to fleece housholders
RESIDENTS are being warned about a bogus caller who claimed to be raising funds for the police.
The man went to two homes in Chryston and said he was selling goods to raise funds for Central Scotland Police Force.
The incidents took place in Hermiston Gardens on Monday, January 7, at around 10.30am and Lindsaybeg Road at around 12.50pm.
The man is described as aged between 18 and 19, He was wearing a black jacket and grey trousers, and was carrying a black bag.
