Clampdown on inconsiderate parking hailed a success
RESIDENTS say a clampdown on selfish drivers who are parking inconsiderately on a busy road is working.
Bishopbriggs Community Council says problems with motorists parking on double yellow lines in Westerhill Road, Bishopbriggs, had been getting worse.
Police have now put down cones on the stretch in a bid to tackle the problem.
A spokesperson for the community council said: “We’re delighted that this is working.
“It took a lot of time and trouble to get yellow lines put down and we are delighted police have taken further action. It’s definitely working and we hope it continues.”
