Coppers nick copper thieves ... police swoop on pipe pair

TWO men have been arrested for the alleged theft of a quantity of copper piping.

Police swooped on the 24-year-old and 33-year-old at around 11.10am on Sunday, October 7, in Burnbrae, Twechar.

It is understood that the men were seen taking the piping from a number of boarded-up houses in the village.

The pair were also charged with possession of drugs and causing a public disturbance.
