Crowning glory – Moodiesburn Gala Day is a great day out

DANCING, bouncing and singing – it was a right royal celebration at Moodiesburn Gala Day.

Gala Queen Erin Brady from St Michael’s Primary was crowned during the village festivities, which also included a parade, workshops, face painting, a bouncy castle and a Moodiesburn’s Got Talent show.

On the top right are some of the Jubilee-flavoured celebrations at The Coffee House in Moodiesburn.

Below is Queen Erin with this year’s gala maids – Courtney Nicol and Amy Alston from Glenmanor Primary and page boy Sam Wishart from Honeypot Nursery.

Meanwhile there were displays by dancers from Sparkles J&C School of Dance and S.M. Dance Academy.

See this week’s Herald for all the photos and more.
