Disgust as charity tin is stolen from takeaway in Kirkintilloch

CALLOUS thieves stole a charity box from a food takeaway.

The donation tin was taken from Piccolo’s in Kirkintilloch’s Townhead, at around 6.25pm on Sunday, January 13.

The suspects are described as two men, both around 5ft8in tall, one wearing dark clothing and the other a green jacket.

In a separate incident a wallet was stolen from a car after thieves smashed the vehicle’s window - causing £90 of damage.

The Audi parked in Muirside Avenue, Kirkintilloch, was targeted overnight between Saturday, January 19, and Sunday, January 20.
