Drivers charged after ignoring red lights in Bishopbriggs and Kirkintilloch

POLICE have charged two motorists with running red lights on the same day.

The first, a 49-year-old man, allegedly drove through a red traffic light in Westerhill Road, Bishopbriggs, at around 5.15pm on Tuesday, February 26.

Later that day, at around 9.25pm, a 34-year-old man was stopped for the same offence in Lenzie Road, Kirkintilloch.

Both have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
